Sports Cars with the Best Resale Value

ROAD&TRACK -- The best sports cars are wickedly fast, have razor-sharp handling and pretty much guarantee you’ll be smiling after every drive. Yet when it comes to resale value, many of these dream machines can turn into a money-losing nightmare due to huge depreciation.
However, some sports cars manage to buck the trend and hold onto their value year after year. There really is not a sports car with a good resale value.

If you buy one to drive, it will fall in price.

Buy one that is 10 or more years old and you have a chance of seeing it stabilize or even appreciate but the maintenance!

Sometimes, you just have to go with your heart and throw depreciation (and reliability) to the wind and buy what you really want.

Someone who is mightily concerned about depreciation or reliability or mileage would never buy a sports car anyway. Or SUVs or pickem-up trucks, either. All stink at one of those three factors.

But then, what fun would motoring be if we all drove moderne model T's? :)

The one you never buy has the best resale value; you don't lose a cent on it.
